School is open Thursday, January 9th

Dear KUSD Families,
President Biden issued an Executive Order calling for the closure of all executive departments and agencies of the federal government on January 9, 2025, as a mark of respect for President Carter.  This Executive Order did not declare a “holiday” and it does not apply to the states, including schools. 
School is open Thursday, January 9th.
